    The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Big Brake Kit is designed for use on vehicles with small bearing hubs and OE spindles that originally used 240mm / 9.45” rotors. In order to accommodate the larger brake package, 15” wheels with extra inner clearance are required. The kit's four-piston FDL/ST calipers are made of machined aluminum and hard anodized in medium gray. Durable hard anodizing resists wear and corrosion in the piston bores. Thermlock pistons decrease heat transmission from the pads, extending pad life and extending caliper body, fluid, and seal life. Internal damper springs and high-temperature piston seals ensure stable pedal height.
FDL Big Brake Front Hub Kits provide the added advantage of larger diameter brake rotors for traditional non-ABS spindles on American muscle cars and vintage rods. Forged billet Dynalite calipers, 12.19” diameter rotors, and high performance Wilwood brake pads generate big brake stopping power to compliment wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on all types of custom show and performance street / strip machines. A full range of options for caliper finish and rotor design provide custom builders with the ability to personalize the style and performance requirements of the mildest to the wildest machines.
The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Big Brake Kit series is available in a variety of configurations for high-performance applications, and some models are equipped with a parking brake as standard. The series has been designed to meet the needs of both daily drivers and performance aficionados in equal measure. Various configurations, including classic, drag, and race, are available for either the front or rear axles. A wide range of 15-inch wheels will fit, and dust boots can be customized to provide protection from road debris. Muscle cars, dragsters, high-performance sports cars, and other vehicles are good fits for the Dynalite brake series.
