How do I place an order?

Order from BuyBrakes.com 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Order over the phone Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST/6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST.

Can I change my order?

You will receive an email confirmation shortly after placing your order. Please review it and verify that your order is correct. If any changes are required, contact us right away. Once your order has shipped we will send tracking information separately via email and text/SMS. ).

How do I check the status of my order?

We will send order status notifications via email and text/SMS. If you need further information just contact us.

Can I use different "Bill to" and "Ship to" address in the online checkout?

Yes. However, orders with different Bill To and Ship To addresses may require additional process time for verification and security. It is best if the Bill To and Ship To is a match.

When will my credit card be charged?

Credit cards are charged during checkout. If you have received an order confirmation, your card has been charged.

Can I use someone else’s credit card number?

No. Never use anyone’s credit card except your own. If you do not have a credit card, we offer instant pay-over-time credit through Affirm. See BuyBrakes.com for details.

Why should I buy aftermarket brakes?

OEM brakes are great for daily driving, but they are much more expensive than aftermarket brakes and offer no improvement in braking power. Aftermarket brakes are available in a wide selection, from daily driving replacements to products built to handle the stresses of more aggressive driving, towing, heavy load, or racing.

Do you offer wholesale discounts?

Yes, but only for automotive-related businesses such as brake wholesalers, dealers, and fleet accounts. Click here for more information.

Do you ever offer coupons or special discounts?

We do. Subscribe to get our email newsletters for details. Powerstop, Brembo, Girodisc, and Wilwood are excluded from coupon discounts, along with other brands from time to time.

How soon after ordering my brake parts can I schedule an appointment with my mechanic?

Don't schedule an appointment with your mechanic until the parts are delivered to you. When you receive the shipment, inspect the parts to make sure they are what you ordered. Once this is done, you can schedule your appointment.

How long does it take for a part to arrive at my door?

We quote arrival times on our product pages. You can also read our shipping policy for details.

What happens if I need to return or exchange a part?

What if the part is broken or damaged during shipping?

We have a process to handle damaged shipments and we will send a replacement right away provided you contact us immediately and save all of the packaging.

Do you ship outside the US?

No. We recommend a service called ShipItTo. It makes the international shipping process easier and cheaper.

Do you offer express/expedited shipping?

If you need something shipped express or expedited, call our customer service department. Applicable shipping charges will apply.

Can I track my package?

After your is order processed and shipped, tracking numbers are sent via email and text/SMS. If an order is delayed, we will notify you. We monitor all shipments closely so you don’t have to.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Amazon Pay, Affirm, and PayPal.

How do you protect my credit card information?

We do not store credit card information.

What do I do if I need to cancel my order?

If your item is unshipped, just contact us we’ll process the cancellation if possible. If the item is shipped, accept the part and return as normal.

Do I need to have an account to order a part?

No, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account is recommended.

Do you offer a warranty?

Each product is subject to their manufacturers respective warranty policy. Warranty is displayed on our product pages. You can read more about warranties on the BuyBrakes.com Warranty page.

How do replacement parts affect my vehicle’s warranty?

They don't. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits a vehicle manufacturer from voiding a warranty unless they can prove the replacement part caused a problem.

How can I be sure the part I need will fit my vehicle?

If you live in the continental US, we offer our Perfect Fit Two-Way Shipping Guarantee. This means that if you talked to one of our brake experts to find the correct fitment and placed the order with them (all calls are recorded for training and order verification), we guarantee the parts will fit, subject to two conditions:

  1. Customers allow us the opportunity to replace any incorrect parts with the correct ones.
  2. Only ground type freight charges are covered; no expedited freight charges or labor charges are covered.

If you ordered the wrong part and didn't use our two-way shipping guarantee program, you’ll need to return it to us. Contact us for a return goods authorization (RGA).

What if I want to talk to a real person about my order?

What if a price is incorrect on your website or other marketing materials?

We make every attempt to keep all prices and images on our web site and marketing materials current and correct. However, due to frequent special offers and advertising campaigns, information can become out-of-date quickly. Please let us know if you find an error so that we can correct it ASAP.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, mistakes happen. In the event of an incorrect price on a quote or order, you will be notified by email or phone, and given the option to accept the corrected price or cancel the order.

At BuyBrakes.com, part of our mission is to offer the best pricing on every part or accessory we sell. If you find a better price for a part or accessory we sell at another online retailer, we’ll match it.

Here’s how our price match guarantee works:

● We have to be able to verify the pricing for the part or accessory ourselves - we can’t rely on a screenshot, email, etc.

● The part or accessory must be identical (part number, color, etc.), and must be available for immediate sale.

● The part or accessory must be offered by an authorized retailer - we can’t match pricing on eBay, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Sears, Craigslist, or other marketplace sites because of counterfeiting.

● The part or accessory must be in-stock - we can’t match pricing on parts or accessories that are on closeout, backorder, or that require a special order.

● Our price match is based on either the price of the part or accessory, OR the total price of the part or accessory including shipping. This is because some retailers will sell their parts at below cost, then charge an exorbitant fee for shipping. We will match the total cost of parts or accessories including shipping in these situations.

There are a few situations where our price match guarantee does not apply:

● We can’t match pricing on eBay, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Sears, or other marketplace sites because of counterfeiting.

● We can’t match pricing on previously placed orders, and price match can’t be applied retroactively.

● We can’t match prices that are in error - if we find a lower price and contact the retailer and they change the price because they made an error, we can’t match it.

● We do not match pricing on any used, damaged, previously opened package, reconditioned, or refurbished parts.

● We don’t match pricing if it’s based on a coupon, rebate, quantity discounts, special orders, and/or reflects a membership requirement.

● We also don’t match pricing on closeouts or discontinued parts.

Additionally, our price match is not applicable on taxes or fees, and our policy is subject to change. We also reserve the right to determine price match eligibility above and beyond any limitations explained here, just in case we forgot something or someone comes up with some clever way to take advantage.
