Each rotor ring is made from CM-250 high-carbon alloy cast iron for excellent bite, thermal stability, and resistance to cracking under extreme heat. The rings are heat-treated to relieve internal stress and precision CBN-machined to ensure a smooth surface for faster, more consistent brake pad bed-in.

The fully-floating 2-piece design allows the rotor ring to expand during extreme heat cycles, minimizing distortion and maintaining consistent pad contact. Tight tolerances—≤0.03mm lateral runout and ≤2g weight variation—help reduce vibration and brake judder for smooth, consistent braking performance.

The assembly is completed with a lightweight CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum hat for strength and reduced weight. Each hat features a Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized finish, available in clear or black, for enhanced wear and corrosion resistance.
