shortage at StopTech for machining, which, unfortunately, left a product shortage almost everywhere. Because Stoptech is in such high demand, we built a program to meet the demand that is supported by the Stoptech factory, to finish their rotors from their blanks to the exact specifications as a Stoptech machined rotor.
The program allows us to take Centric “blank” brake rotors and machine them to meet StopTech specs. It’s a great solution because the same company owns Centric and StopTech. All Centric and StopTech rotors start with the same blanks. That means the quality of these rotor brands will be the same. To be more specific about our process, we finish-machine the drilled holes and slots in the Centric rotors. This converts the Centric rotors into StopTech rotors.
