Stop In The Blink Of An Eye

Have you ever wondered how some of those cars stop in a split second, while others go swirling into the wall? I don't know the exact answer, but I can say that the ones who ended up crashing were the ones not using Hawk Performance Brakes. Okay maybe that wasn't fair to assume, but we know how good these brakes are and you won't be disappointed. They are made to deliver an aggressive initial bite and will help you maintain full control over your vehicle.

Installation

Hawk DTC-60 High Performance Brake Pads feature a hassle free installation, however we highly recommend having a certified mechanic install them and perform the proper ACZAbreak-in procedure. This will allow you to get the most out of your brakes and guarantee that everything works efficiently. If you have any questions about Brake Pads or your other braking needs, feel free to give us a call and let our knowledgeable sales staff assist you. We have trained staff that are waiting to lend you a helping hand!

I don't know about the user below, but in my Scion FR-S (Toyota GT86) they left an uneven pad compound on the slotted disc. Thus I had vibrations under braking after 40 minutes of using them (fyi: I am very hard, late and trail braker). But, the discs weren't warped and the pads had still a lot left after 1:30 minutes of track time.

What was extremely impressive was their stopping power, which as they were getting warmed, it was immense!!! Make sure you heat them up for the first few laps or else you will go straight after a big straightaway...

As a repurchasing value... I am still debating if I should go back to DTC-30s. Granted they give less stopping power, but for a lighter car like mine they work great and I think their operating temperatures are more in par for a street legal car that is tracked. I would probably stick with DTC-60s if the car was a race thoroughbred.

Long lived, easy on rotors, great stopping power on turbo Miata.
