Wilwood SX6R Big Brake Kits were developed for the particular objective of offering high capacity braking with large diameter rotors for heavy-duty and race vehicles. It is the biggest dual-purpose caliper that Wilwood has ever made, and it provides excellent braking performance for show vehicles as well as dual-use street and track cars. By upgrading the wheels and tires, you can get even better braking performance. Kits are entirely compatible with the output of the original master cylinder as well as the ABS function. Directional 72 staggered vanes 14.00" to 15.00" rotors deliver optimal cooling for extended high-temperature resilience.
Wilwood SX6R Big Brake Kit is available in a variety of sizes and rotor styles, including slotted and cross-drilled/slotted. Brake calipers with large diameter rotors, such as the SX6R, were developed specifically for extreme-duty and race vehicles that require high-capacity braking. They are the largest dual-purpose calipers that Wilwood has ever produced, and they deliver outstanding braking performance for show vehicles as well as dual-purpose street and track vehicles, among other applications. As a result of the wheel and tire upgrades, these kits provide additional enhanced braking performance while remaining fully compatible with the original master cylinder output and ABS function. From 14.00 to 15.00 in, a directional 72 staggered vane is used.
