Aerolite 6R six piston radial mount front caliper kits add big brake stopping power and style to any 1997-2013 C5 or C6 Corvette front suspension. These kits replace the OE calipers on all models and mount in the stock caliper location. All the necessary hardware is included for correct mounting height and offset with the very affordable one-piece 13.38” Z51 style rotors. The Wilwood AERO6 Big Brake Kit features six-piston radial-mount calipers that are paired with 14.00" dynamically mounted GT directional vane rotors that have a high cooling capacity, resulting in the ideal brake kit for unrestricted road race competitiveness. It is possible to reduce heat transmission from the pads, caliper body, fluid, and seals by using Thermlock pistons in the calipers to prevent fade and improve service life. The AERO6 calipers have 20mm thick pads, which increases endurance while also extending the life of the pads. Rotor assemblies are mounted to the hubs using forged aluminum mounting crowns, and radial-mount brackets keep the caliper mounted to the spindle in its original place without the need for reconfiguration. High-temperature, high-friction race compound pads are also included in the kits, along with all premium-grade fasteners.
