Made for Racing and Towing

The Yellowstuff brake pads are made for racing(street and track) if you own a car. These are an aggressive set of pads, but can also be used as a daily driver if needed. For trucks and SUVs, the Yellowstuff pads are great for towing and can also be used as a daily driver.

Better Performance

These pads sacrifice nothing when it comes to performance. However, you may find yourself cleaning your wheels a little more often. The Yellowstuff pads have a high dust rating, meaning they will allow more dust than most pads - similiar to OE brake pads. Normally when seeking performace brake pads, you will have to sacrifice a bit on the dust.

1 Year/10,000 Mile Warranty

Up to one year or 10,000 miles, the Yellowstuff brake pads are covered against any manufacturer defects.

Since 1978 EBC Brakes has become one of the world leaders in the braking industry. You can choose from a variety of EBC Brake Pads and Rotors that are made to fit a ton of vehicle applications. EBC is known for producing the largest range of brake pads and rotors in the world. EBC has multiple distribution centers all around the world with two facilities that actually manufacture EBC Brake Pads and Rotors, one in the UK and the other is located right here in the U.S. EBC has built a reputation for using only the highest quality materials for their pads and rotors, because EBC knows you don't build a successful company by cutting corners and producing a product that they wouldn't use themselves. EBC is dedicated to using state of the art materials and manufacturing techniques to produce a high quality product designed to promote a safer driving environment.

EBC Brake Pads

EBC Brake Pads are ahead of their time because they use a unique Aramid fibre material that puts it's competitors cheap steel fibre bases to shame. The use of Aramid fibres deliver a higher degree of flexibility in compound design, this enables EBC Brakes to produce a quiet and long lasting range of pad compounds that can improve stopping distance, reduce rotor wear and thereby greatly reduce brake dust. Also all of the EBC Brake Rotors are given a corrosion resistant powder coat finish. This finish not only resists corrosion but it also helps prevent water from accumulating inside the pad. The Picture to the right shows EBC Greenstuff Pads getting the powder coat applied.

EBC Brake Rotors

Most EBC Brake Rotors are manufactured in the UK and Italy, they all of the rotors are machined and finished in either the UK or the U.S. After the rotor is machined and finished EBC inspects and puts the rotor through rigorous tests before it can leave the factory. EBC Sport Rotors have actually recently been awarded the much accredited TUV testing approval and the resulting German ABE number that signifies the highest in quality for parts sold into Europe. If EBC Rotors can withstand the torture of Autobahn Speeds (which are unlimited) we think it is safe to say you can be confident that EBC Brake rotors will deliver on your car, truck or SUV.

I have a 2006 Tiburon SE I bought as my track day car. I needed upgraded brakes. HAWK doesn't make pads for this model vehicle. But in internet search I found Not only did I find excellent pads at a terrific price, the information they supplied helped me greatly to do this upgrade. This site is now my first choice to go find brake parts. We have 9 vehicles, so I am sure i'll be back.

I have a 2005 Lotus Elise. I could not find a side-by-side Yellowstuff/Redstuff comparison so after smoking my Redstuff pads at a track day last year, I upgraded to Yellowstuff for my recent track day hoping for better track performance. I expected a decrease in street performance because my car is very light, but to my surprise, these pads do not need to be warmed up to perform well. These have great initial bite and very very good heat tolerance for the money you spend. I can't comment on rain performance because I don't use my car in the rain. They produce a moderate amount of dust for road use and can be loud initially (give them some time and they will quiet down). For track use, you can get away with these if you have a very light car and don't use slicks, but you will find yourself loosing stopping power if you push them to hard. Perhaps a little light duty for real track days, this pad is a great compromise for AutoX/Street combined use. Compared to the Redstuff I would actually recommend the Redstuff for most people. I used Redstuff at Watkins Glen for two days last year and they had material left but the friction was pretty well gone. However, they never faded and perform a little better than Yellowstuff for daily driving. Redstuff produce almost no dust, a little squealing initially which goes away, fantastic AutoX performance, and extremely long life. My go-to pad is still the Redstuff. There is not enough of a high-temperature gain to justify the higher dust and lower lifespan of the Yellowstuff. I will be trying the blue ones next :) I am a big supporter of EBC, they have great products for great prices.

I bought these for my 2005 Scion Tc. I also bought a set for a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Great brakes! handle well in rain and extremely well in daily driving. I have drilled rotors on both cars and these work perfect with my drill rotors. The only issue I have with both cars is that the pads squeal. so they are a bit noisy, but for the stopping power you receive from these (as compare to Axxis Ultimate) I would go with these any day. price is high. Your looking at 200 basically to do all four corners but you cant compare the stopping power of these. the brake pedal also feels just a bit stiffer than normal. love these minus the squealing. Unsure if this is due to the shims that come with the pads (a rubber overlay/sticker) VS. the metal shims that come with normal pads.

Bought the ebc yellow stuff pads for my 2005 chevy tahoe.Wanted better stopping for my suv with over sized 20 inch rims.Followed the bed in procedure at 200 miles as per the directions. As of now I have 750 miles on the new pads and they are grabbing better every day.Manufacture says pads will have maximum bite after 1000 miles. If I get better bite than I have now then wow, becaues the bite the pads have now at 750 miles is 100 times better than stock pads. These pads were pricey compared to oem pads but well worth the money. To bad auto manufactors cant put these on new vehicles, you cant put a price on safety.

My 2005 Honda Odyssey is the first SUV-type vehicle I’ve owned, having driven high-performance vehicles prior to this (and I don’t even have kids… it’s a long story). I love the versatility it offers, from moving furniture to car-camping. Out of the box, I knew a braking components upgrade was a must (the Odyssey weighs in at close to 4,400 lbs). I replaced the OEM with DBA slotted and dimpled rotors, EBC Yellow Stuff DP41743R pads up front, and Green Stuff DP71743 on the rear. The result is a HUGE, with what feels like a 40-50% improvement in braking, and with very little fade even with remarkably hard decelerations. The consistently great braking power gives me the confidence to drive this mini-behemoth in my more habitual, sporting, fun way.
