The DBA 5000 2-Piece Cross-Drilled & Slotted Disc With Black Hat is your best bet if you're looking for 2-piece rotor upgrades with the excellent aesthetics of a CNC machined drilled-and-slotted design. As the temperatures rise, the 3500-grade high carbon rotor rings are permitted to expand, yet they stay accurate and precise as the Aerospace (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts connect to the center hats.
The Aerospace grade (T6061-T6) aluminum cores (called caps) help decrease the rotational mass of the brake disc for faster acceleration and brake reaction, making them ideal for performance street use. The aluminum hats reduce heat transfer from the rotors to the hubs and bearings, a "cool" and measurable effect. These are sold individually, so order two for a complete matching pair.
