The DBA Smooth-Plain 4000 Brake Rotor is a direct replacement single-piece rotor designed for drivers who want better braking performance. The rotationally balanced design of the Smooth-Plain 4000 provides smoother and more efficient braking action, while the high carbon alloyed iron castings provide superior strength and durability. The unique Kangaroo Paw ventilation system uses 144 diamond-and-teardrop-shaped pillars to enhance the surface area for more effective cooling. The DBA Smooth-Plain 4000 Brake Rotor is the ideal choice for drivers who demand the best in braking performance and durability.
4000 Series Plain Face Rotor
DBA's 4000 Series disc brake rotors are direct replacement single-piece rotors designed for drivers wanting better braking performance. DBA's metallurgy, cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and thermally profiled, can endure greater stress and heat under intensive braking applications. DBA's proprietary Kangaroo Paw ventilation uses 144 diamond-and-teardrop-shaped pillars to enhance the surface area by 30% and cooling effectiveness by 20%. (as compared to a traditional straight vane design). Available with OE style CBN finish, XD cross drilled (XD)*, or DBA's proprietary T3 tri-symmetrical (S) slot design.
