Centric 125 Series High Carbon Alloy Brake Rotors contain an advanced metallurgy that greatly reduces the possibility of pad squeal especially with higher friction, European style brake pad compounds. Proprietary Molybdenum and Chromium alloys resist rotor cracking during high performance use or repeat stop situations. This alloy also increases the friction couple improving brake performance and stopping power. Increased Chromium and Carbon content is also more resistant to oxidation.
Centric High Carbon Alloy Brake Rotors have a double disc ground finish that prevents runout and disc thickness variance. Double-disc grinding creates a non-directional finish for better rotor and pad break-in. Centric High Carbon Brake Rotors RMS=64.3, Ra=1.6 microns (63 micro-inches). Centric Parts High Carbon Alloy Brake Rotors are black E-coated. E-Coating is an electrostatically applied finish that can endure 400 hours of salt spray testing.

Centric Parts High Carbon Alloy Brake Rotors employ OE split-core symmetric molding. Symmetric core molding rotors disperse heat more efficiently and provide better stopping power. Centric High Carbon Alloy Brake Rotors are also mill balanced to 2oz/in. This additional machining decreases rotor vibration feedback and enables smooth braking.
