Premium Low-Met OE Equivalent Pad
Brake pads can be considered the “heart” of a vehicle’s braking system. Most of the components around or attached to them are designed based on the type, composition, and structure of the pads chosen by the automaker. As a significant part of a meticulously balanced system, brake pads need to be crafted to exacting tolerances. The Brembo OE replacement brake pads are specifically engineered to replace the original equipment factory pads. These OE friction pads offer exact fit, improved stopping performance, and long service life.
Specifically designed for the North American market, this Brembo formulated friction material with premium shim offers comfortable, quiet, smooth braking and cleaner wheels. Designed with the European car owner in mind, Brembo's Low-Met Brake Pads are formulated for superior braking performance in all driving conditions. Brembo's Low-Met formulations are comparable to the OE with all Low-Met pads receiving an ECE-R90 approval.
The Brembo OE replacement brake pads are manufactured using OE direct molding production and pressing process. This process makes use of high-pressure to make the friction materials adhere better and longer to the metal backing plates. Depending on the OE requirements, the pads may include shims that are made to OE specifications.

All OE replacement pads from Brembo are born from extensive racing experience and dynamic collaboration with automakers. The manufacturing process takes place in the company’s state-of-the-art facility, where part engineers have absolute control of all the production stages—from product research and development through the formulation of friction compounds, mechanical processing, and product testing.
