 Description

The EBC RP-1 Racing Brake Pad combines high performance with unmatched modulation and control. Best for low to medium weight but high powered track oriented vehicles, the EBC RP-1 Racing pads Providee moderate initial bite (right from cold) resulting in a track pad that offers optimum braking performance and enables drivers to maximize their braking zone. The EBC RP-1 has a moderately high friction level of 0.45mu between 100 and 750°C, making it ideal for cars driven aggressively on track. The EBC RP-1's more progressive response makes it suitable for ‘over-servoed' automobiles where a softer pad composition allows for more finesse when braking.


Designed and manufactured entirely in the EBC Brakes Bristol, UK plant, the EBC RP-1 Racing Brake Pads are constructed of a Carbon-Kevlar blend of materials capable of operating at temperatures and maintaining stability that is rarely seen in high-performance brakes. The pads deliver ultimate race performance even at the highest race temperatures. It's also engineered to survive the rigors of racing. Stable and consistent braking is provided by its stainless steel backplates. The RP-1’s also feature the groundbreaking Nucap NRS hook pad retention system. It should be noted that the EBC RP-1 pads are not intended for use on the road.
