The Perfect Combo

Installation

I have an 04 Scion xB and the brakes I had before were very loud and would squeal for no reason. I had plenty of meat on my other brake pads. So I ordered the front brake kit and I had my mechanic install them for me for around $50.00 It was easy for him because I just gave him all the parts. They haven't made any undesirable noise and stop great. They haven't rusted either like those other crappy ones I would have overpaid for. I was hesitant to purchase these at first, but I would highly recommend them. I'm thinking about buying some as Christmas gifts for friends and family. Does that make me a redneck? Shoot.

I really like the brake kit so far. The braking is as good, if not better than factory BMW parts. The only thing that I can say negative about the brake kit is the random low speed brake squeal. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I goofed during setting the pad and rotors. The noise is minimal and no big deal.

Once you're armed with a quote from your local dealer facility for simple stock replacement brake pads and rotors, you'll begin to realize how much more value for the money the Power Stop brake kit is. My experience has been that BuyBrakes.com pricing for performance brakes is typically half of what a dealer charges for stock brakes.
