Power Stop Brake Pads

Ceramic pads are now common on original equipment cars and trucks. Ceramic brakes offer a good all-around performance with quite, vibration free operation. Evolution "clean ride" ceramic brake pads have low resin content and they are Kevlar enhanced to prevent high temperatures glazing (resin bleed resulting in brake fade). Evolution pads are 100% non-ferrous to eliminate annoying metal to metal noise and wear. They come slotted, chamfered and shimmed just like the OE pads. The third generation Evolution ceramic is perfect for your performance street rides. Ceramic pads are not recommended for severe duty truck and towing applications.

Power Stop Z26 Series of friction is engineered for severe duty braking conditions on import, domestic and SUV vehicles. The Z26 series has a carbon and steel matrix formula specifically engineered to resist fade under extreme braking conditions associated with repetitive stopping such as: police vehicles, ambulances, track racing, off-road racing, and street performance.

Power Stop has developed a pad that offers enormous braking torque for your SUV or truck under full load. The Z36 metallic pad is designed for thermal stability, so you have the confidence to stop under severe conditions. Whether you drive in the mountains, haul serious loads or tow trailers, you can find confidence and safety with Z36. The Power Stop friction compound is aggressive but wears over 40% better than the OE pad. Z36 pads have the highest pad bite through any pedal pressure range.
